Literacy Volunteers-HBPL has been dedicated to helping adults learn English and improve their literacy skills since its inception. Operating through the Huntington Beach Public Library, this organization provides free tutoring and resources to adult learners.
In the past fiscal year, 11 adults became U.S. citizens after completing the Citizenship Exam Preparation class, showcasing the direct impact of the program on individuals' lives. Additionally, over 100 workbooks and more than 500 books have been added to support adult learners.
