Founded in 1953 by a dedicated group of parents, Link Associates began as the Polk County Association for Retarded Children, aiming to support individuals with intellectual disabilities. Over the years, the organization has evolved, changing its name in 1992 to better reflect its mission of connecting individuals with the necessary supports and services. Today, Link Associates proudly serves over 900 individuals and their families, offering a comprehensive range of services that foster community integration.
