Lifeline Chaplaincy
EIN: 76-0504483 · Houston, TX
Our Story
Lifeline Chaplaincy’s roots trace back to the 1960s when Marie Banister, a heart patient and stroke survivor, began offering spiritual encouragement to patients in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. This humble beginning blossomed into a full-time chaplaincy, expanding its reach across Texas, including Dallas, Central Texas, and Tarrant County.
Impact
Each year, Lifeline Chaplaincy supports over 10 million patients, helping them navigate emotional and spiritual challenges during health crises. The Compassionate Touch initiative has gifted over 4.9 million dollars to struggling patients and caregivers.
