L!FE Leaders Inc. was founded in 2018 with a mission to empower youth to shape their futures and the future of Detroit. Co-founders Amy Nederlander and Michaela Murphy envisioned a thriving Detroit where young people are equipped with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed. Since its inception, the organization has expanded its programs from fewer than ten students in its first cohort to 30 youth in 2019-20, providing essential paid employment and training.
