Legal Education Access Pipeline Inc, known as LEAP, was founded by Cindy Lopez after decades of experience in the legal and nonprofit sectors. Recognizing the significant gap in access to law school education for underrepresented groups, LEAP was established to create pathways for aspiring legal professionals. Since its inception in January 2020, LEAP has been dedicated to providing a comprehensive fellowship program that equips students with the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary to succeed in law school and beyond.
