Our Story

Founded in 2012 by architects Elizabeth Timme and Mia Lehrer, LA Más is an urban design non-profit dedicated to fostering community-driven public projects. The organization focuses on building local ownership and power among working-class communities of color in Northeast Los Angeles, addressing the challenges posed by displacement due to public infrastructure investments.
