Inspired by Dr. Bill Bright’s vision, JesusOnline Ministries was founded by Larry Chapman to provide compelling evidence for the Christian faith. The journey began when a Young Life leader sought answers for a struggling student, prompting Larry to compile his extensive research into articles that would later be published as Y-Jesus and Y-Origins magazines. With the endorsement of Dr. Bright, these resources became powerful evangelism tools, reaching audiences worldwide.

Over the years, JesusOnline Ministries has expanded its outreach significantly. The Y-Jesus articles have been translated into 18 languages, making them accessible to diverse cultures and communities. The launch of JesusOnline.com in 2012 further enhanced the mission, focusing on engaging young people and providing discipleship materials for spiritual growth.

In 2020, the JO Discipleship App was introduced, creating a vibrant community for individuals to deepen their relationship with God. This initiative has seen remarkable success, with outreach efforts resulting in over 2 million decisions to follow Christ in 2023, a significant increase from 85,421 in 2019.

Over the past 21 years, JesusOnline Ministries has reached an astounding 250 million people with the gospel. The goal for this year is to see 1.5 million individuals commit their lives to Christ, fueled by the generosity of donors.
