Founded by Katrina Carpenter in 2015, Jean’s Angels was born from personal tragedy and a desire to uplift those in need. Inspired by the loss of her mother to ovarian cancer and her brothers to suicide, Katrina dedicated her life to helping the homeless, domestic violence victims, gun violence victims, and children with terminal illnesses in Charleston, South Carolina, and surrounding areas.
Since its inception, Jean’s Angels has provided meals, toys, and clothes to tens of thousands of individuals, significantly impacting the Tri-County community.
