About the Jason Motte Foundation

The Jason Motte Foundation was established in 2010, inspired by a personal journey through cancer treatment. After witnessing the struggles faced by Caitlin Motte's grandfather at The West Clinic in Memphis, Jason and Caitlin Motte sought to make a difference. This led to the creation of the Strike Out Cancer Gala and the foundation, dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families.

Impact of the Foundation

Thanks to generous partners and donors, the Jason Motte Foundation has made significant strides in cancer support. Annually, the foundation hosts events for cancer patients and their families at local ballparks. A pledge of $200,000 was made to enhance the Inpatient Cancer Unit at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Additionally, the foundation initiated the first community lung cancer screening program at The West Cancer Center in 2014, and since 2013, the KCancer t-shirt campaign has raised over $271,000 for more than 60 cancer charities.
