Our Story

Founded in 2011, Jamii Moja is a Portland-based nonprofit dedicated to providing educational opportunities to the Maasai community in Kenya. By fostering partnerships and offering financial support, the organization empowers young people to break the cycle of poverty.

Impact

Jamii Moja has successfully educated over 40 children, from preschool through high school, with the first student graduating in 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization provided essential food and educational resources to the community.
