The Irish Georgian Society was founded in 1958 by the Hon. Desmond Guinness and Mariga Guinness to protect Ireland's architectural heritage. Over the past six decades, countless historic buildings have been saved through the dedication of its members and supporters. The Society actively promotes awareness and conservation of Ireland's architectural and decorative arts.
