Our Story

InterIm Community Development Association (InterIm CDA) has been a beacon of hope in Seattle’s Chinatown/International District since 1969. This nonprofit organization focuses on affordable housing and community development, providing multilingual and culturally competent services to those facing barriers due to language, acculturation, and poverty. Initially serving the Asian Pacific Islander community, InterIm CDA now supports around 5,000 low-income individuals from diverse backgrounds across the greater Puget Sound area.

Impact

With a commitment to uplifting immigrant and refugee communities, InterIm CDA has assisted approximately 4,000 people through housing counseling services and offers safe, affordable housing to about 1,000 individuals and families. Programs like the Danny Woo Community Garden and the Wilderness Inner-City Leadership Development initiative have significantly enhanced the lives of those served.
