Since 1996, Inside Out Steelband has been dedicated to advancing the Trinidadian steel pan art form in Austin and Central Texas. This vibrant organization offers classes, workshops, and performances that engage individuals of all ages and skill levels, fostering a sense of community through music.

Impact of Inside Out Steelband

With over 50 performances annually, Inside Out Steelband reaches more than 15,000 people each year. The organization has established at least twelve curricular steel bands in local schools, along with community bands and an annual summer camp for youth, enriching the cultural landscape of Austin.
