Indego Africa, founded in 2007, is dedicated to empowering artisan women in Africa by providing them with employment opportunities and essential business education. Operating in Rwanda and Ghana, the organization focuses on investing in artisan-owned businesses and equipping women, youth, and refugees with the necessary tools for economic inclusion and success.

Transforming Lives Through Economic Empowerment

Indego Africa has made a significant impact, with 90% of artisan partners reporting increased income since joining the program. The organization’s initiatives have empowered women to achieve financial independence, with 97% stating that the skills learned will help them earn income in the future. Since 2021, the number of artisans starting new side businesses has doubled, and 100% of participants report increased confidence.
