Our Story
Hope for Leogane is a dedicated nonprofit initiative focused on transforming the lives of children in Leogane, Haiti, by ensuring they receive a quality education. Established in response to the devastating earthquake in 2010, which destroyed homes, schools, and churches, this organization aims to rebuild the future for the children of Leogane. With the cost of sending a child to school at approximately $600 per year, many families struggle to provide this essential opportunity. In 2018, nearly 250 children were successfully placed in local schools, but the need continues to grow. Led by Fr. Jean Boulin, a native of Leogane, the organization is committed to raising funds and resources to build a new school, expanding access to education for even more children and families.
