Our Story
Holyoke Medical Center, originally established in 1893 as Holyoke City Hospital, was founded by former Congressman and Mayor William Whiting. This non-sectarian hospital has evolved through the years, becoming Holyoke Hospital in 1927 and Holyoke Medical Center in 2003. For over 125 years, it has been committed to serving the health needs of the Pioneer Valley community.
