Our Story

The vision for Harbor House of Rochester began in 2001, inspired by the need for a healthcare hospitality house for families of hospitalized patients. Established in 2008, this nonprofit organization offers a safe and supportive environment for families of adult critical care patients at the University of Rochester Medical Center. By providing temporary lodging, Harbor House eases the emotional and financial burdens faced during medical crises.
