Our Story
Founded in 1970 by Sr. Lucy Poulin and community members, H.O.M.E., Inc. began as a craft studio initiative to help low-income families earn income during harsh winters. Over the years, it has evolved to provide essential services such as shelters, affordable daycare, organic gardens, a food pantry, and a soup kitchen, addressing the changing needs of the Hancock County community.
Impact
In 2023, H.O.M.E. provided 15,963 bed nights and assisted 1,971 individuals with food boxes, demonstrating a profound impact on local families.
