Greater Beckley Christian School

Our Story

Founded in 1973 as a ministry of Faith Baptist Church, Greater Beckley Christian School in Prosperity, WV, began with just thirty-nine students. Over the years, it has grown to serve an average of 203 students from kindergarten through grade twelve, focusing on a Biblically based education that emphasizes high academic standards.

Impact

Students at Greater Beckley consistently excel in standardized tests, achieving upper percentile scores on Explore, Plan, Terra Nova, ACT, and SAT assessments. Graduates have successfully attended colleges and universities nationwide, showcasing the school's commitment to academic excellence, which was recognized with full accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International in 2014.
