Our Story

Global Disaster Relief Team was born from a deep commitment to help those in need. Just three days after the war broke out in Ukraine, Alexander Smirnov, a dedicated first responder, mobilized a group of friends to provide immediate assistance. From Medway, MA, they raised $22,000 for medical supplies and traveled to the Poland-Ukraine border, where they established the GDRT Clinic. With the support of generous donors worldwide, the team has been able to treat countless individuals and distribute essential medical supplies.

Impact

To date, GDRT has deployed over 120 medics and support personnel, shipped more than $2,000,000 in medical supplies, treated thousands of patients, and evacuated hundreds of refugees, including those needing special transportation.
