Girls Inc. was founded in 1864 to support girls and young women facing challenges in the aftermath of the Civil War. Established as the Girls Club of Dallas in 1968, this organization has dedicated itself to empowering low-income, inner-city girls in Metropolitan Dallas. For nearly 60 years, Girls Inc. has provided high-quality afterschool, summer, and partner-based programs that foster growth and leadership.
