Our Story
The Galveston County Food Bank was established to meet the increasing need for food assistance in Galveston County, especially after Hurricane Ike. Relocating to a larger facility in Texas City has enabled the organization to enhance its service to the community.
Our Impact
Distributing over 700,000 pounds of food monthly, the Galveston County Food Bank supports around 23,000 individuals and families through a network of more than 80 agencies. Focused on vulnerable populations, it runs various outreach programs.
