Our Story
Friends of the Portsmouth Juvenile Court was established in 1997 to support families and youth transitioning through the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. The organization launched the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program in 1998, which has been continuously accredited since 1999. With the support of the Beazley Foundation, the Community Service Program was created, and funding was secured to launch the Transportation Motivating Change program.
