Friends of the Encinitas Library is dedicated to enhancing the library's resources and promoting literacy within the Encinitas community. Over 15 years ago, this organization led the initiative for a larger library to better serve the growing population.
With additional funding, the Friends of the Encinitas Library supports over 100 programs each month, including adult, teen, and children's activities. Contributions have also funded a Steinway B grand piano and established an endowment for ongoing library needs.
