Founded in 1987, Friends of The Castle began as a support group for families of individuals with severe mental disabilities. In 1995, the organization evolved to reflect its mission, becoming Friends of The Castle. The Castle opened its doors in 1993, creating a safe haven for adults facing mental health challenges.
