In 2010, John and Mary Lou Auxier founded the Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge in response to the pressing healthcare needs of rural and minority, low-income, and uninsured residents in Appalachia. What began in Oak Ridge has expanded to multiple locations, including a Mobile Clinic Unit and various Medical Events, serving families across surrounding counties.
