Our Story

The Fort Cavazos Family Scholarship Fund (FCFSF) was established in 1985 to support military families through education. Originally part of the Fort Cavazos Spouses Club, the organization recognized the need for independence to secure diverse funding sources. This separation allowed FCFSF to enhance its outreach across six counties surrounding Fort Cavazos, including Bell, Coryell, McLennan, Travis, Williamson, and Lampasas. By providing scholarships to high school seniors and military spouses of Active Duty, Veterans, and Gold Star families, FCFSF fosters inclusivity and unity within the community.

FCFSF plays a pivotal role in eliminating barriers to higher education for military families. By offering academic scholarships, the organization enhances educational opportunities and uplifts the quality of life for these valued families.
