Our Story
EYEJ was founded in 2013 by Mai Moore and the late June Antoine in response to the tragic Trayvon Martin incident. This organization empowers young people in Cleveland’s underserved communities to advocate for social justice while connecting them with diverse role models and community leaders.
Impact
Through the YDJ: Youth Discussing Justice program, EYEJ has engaged over 1,600 underserved students, focusing on mental wellness, conflict resolution, and civil rights. An impressive 78% of participants report significant skill development that enhances their lives.
