Our Story

Founded in 1994 by a dedicated local businessperson and retired Lutheran minister, Exodus Housing addresses the urgent needs of families experiencing homelessness in East Pierce County. Initially serving both single and dual-parent low-income families, the organization has evolved to focus on assisting low-income households fleeing domestic violence through its rapid rehousing program.

Our Impact

Exodus Housing aims for at least 80% of families exiting their program to retain housing and 70% to increase their income, typically through employment. These goals are consistently met or exceeded, as reflected in their annual reports.
