Our Story

Education Francaise Greater Boston (EFGB) began its journey in 2008 as the Francais Langue Maternelle (FLAM) after-school program. Recognizing the need for francophone children to learn, practice, and play in French, a dedicated group of teachers established this enriching program. With the support of a FLAM grant from the French government, EFGB has been able to enhance its educational offerings, ensuring a high-quality approach to French education.

Impacting the Community

Today, EFGB serves over 250 students aged 5 to 12 across seven locations in Greater Boston, providing them with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the French language and culture. Additionally, the P’tits Bouts program caters to preschool-aged children, offering structured and engaging classes that foster early childhood education.
