The Education for Women in Turkey Fund was established by Turkish American women in Houston to promote education for underprivileged girls in Turkey. This initiative aims to close the education gap and empower girls with the knowledge and skills necessary for a brighter future.
Since 2014, the EWT Fund has awarded $473,710 in scholarships, supporting 85 university students and 158 high school students for the 2023-2024 school year. A total of 1,368 high school scholarships and 379 college scholarships have been granted, enabling many girls to graduate and pursue higher education.
