Our Story

Eden Centers for Hope and Healing opened Eden House, the first recovery home for adult victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in the Greater New Orleans area. Modeled after Magdalene House/Thistle Farms in Nashville, TN, the organization is dedicated to eradicating the trafficking and selling of human beings through youth prevention, education, legislative advocacy, recovery, and reentry services.

Impact

Through various programs, Eden Centers has created systemic change, including emergency, transitional, and long-term shelter for survivors. Notably, it has opened the first emergency center in the nation located on a hospital site to serve trafficking survivors.
