Founded in 1995 by a dedicated group of activists, the East LA Community Corporation (ELACC) has been at the forefront of community development in Boyle Heights. This nonprofit organization was established to address the pressing needs of a densely populated, low-income urban neighborhood. Over the past 22 years, ELACC has transformed its ambitious vision into reality, leveraging over $250 million in housing and community development resources.

ELACC has positively impacted the lives of 15,000 individuals annually through its comprehensive programs and services. With the development of 1,000 units of affordable rental housing and 89 single-family homes, ELACC is committed to fostering a community where everyone can thrive.
