Our Story
The Conestoga Area Historical Society was founded in 1990 to preserve the rich history of the Penn Manor Area. Established in response to a suggestion from the Lancaster County Historical Society, it began with a mid-1800s tobacco shed and has grown to encompass seven major buildings that house invaluable historical artifacts.
Impact
Dedicated to the preservation of local history, the Society engages the community through the exchange of ideas and the presentation of historical artifacts. The successful opening of a museum has become a cornerstone for educational initiatives.
