Common Ground Surf began as a wild idea between two friends in California, transforming into a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to serving the youth of Oak View. For over nine years, this organization has provided a safe community and after-school programs for at-risk youth.
Since its inception in 2013, Common Ground Surf has grown from serving 8 kids to impacting hundreds. The organization has evolved from a small surf camp into a fully functioning after-school program, now open Monday through Friday. Over 400 youth have experienced the love of Christ through mentorship and community support.
