With roots in the mission of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the foundation has been a steadfast partner in supporting the CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System. Over the past thirty-four years, it has played a crucial role in expanding services, integrating advanced technology, and maintaining a focus on compassionate, faith-based care.

Impact in the Community

Thanks to the unwavering support of the community, CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System is home to the region’s only Electrophysiology Lab, Hybrid Operating Suite, Level III NICU, Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, and an accredited Comprehensive Cancer Program with Genetic Testing available. This impact ensures that the most vulnerable populations have access to essential health care services.
