The Children's Advocacy Centers of Pennsylvania (PennCAC) was established to create a child-focused, trauma-informed approach to the investigation and prosecution of child abuse. Since the early 1990s, over 40 CACs have been developed across the state, each tailored to meet community needs while adhering to national standards.
Each year, Pennsylvania's 41 Children's Advocacy Centers support over 15,000 child victims and their families, significantly reducing trauma and improving the investigative process.
