Our Story

Established in 1916, the Chicago Urban League is dedicated to helping individuals find jobs, become homeowners, and enhance their educational experiences. As one of the oldest and largest affiliates of the National Urban League, this organization promotes sustainable communities through advocacy and collaboration.

Impact

Each year, the Chicago Urban League reaches over 15,000 people, advocating for educational, economic, and social equality for Black individuals. By addressing the root causes of racial inequality, the League remains a leader in the Urban League movement.
