Our Story
Founded in 1976 through a grassroots effort in Waco, Texas, CASA of McLennan County emerged from a deep concern for the welfare of children in the foster care system. Initially part of the Waco Rape Crisis Center, this organization became an independent 501(c)3 in 2012, dedicated to recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers who advocate for children in foster care.
Impact
Over the past 26 years, CASA of McLennan County has significantly impacted the lives of nearly 200 children annually, with a goal to double its efforts and reach even more children in need of safe, permanent homes.
