Our Story

CARITAS began as an all-volunteer initiative known as 'Winter Cots' in the early 1980s, responding to the urgent need for shelter among the homeless population. Officially established in 1987, CARITAS has evolved to provide comprehensive services, including case management and recovery programs, culminating in the opening of the CARITAS Center in 2020, which consolidates multiple services under one roof.

Dedicated to tracking progress and adjusting programs to meet community needs, CARITAS effectively utilizes volunteer efforts, furniture donations, and financial contributions to serve those in need.
