In June 2005, Cal Sutter, a 12-year-old Little League All-Star, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Despite his battle with pediatric cancer, Cal's unwavering hope and concern for others inspired the creation of Cal's All-Star Angel Foundation, Inc. (Cal's Angels) in 2007. This 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to support children fighting cancer.
Since its inception, Cal's Angels has raised an impressive $25 million, providing hope and support to thousands of pediatric cancer patients and their families. The foundation has pledged over $1,250,000 to hospitals, granted over 3,000 wishes, and distributed more than 125,000 toys, with 86% of funds directed towards its mission.
