Our Story

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America began in 1860, founded by three visionary women in Hartford, Connecticut. They recognized the need for a safe haven for boys who roamed the streets, leading to the establishment of the first Club. With a focus on character development, the Club aims to engage youth, improve behavior, and elevate personal expectations.
