Our Story

Believe in Dreams was founded in 2014 by Cleveland entrepreneur John DiJulius III and his son Cal. After experiencing the profound loss of his wife, John recognized the stark differences in support available to children facing adversity. Inspired by his own journey and the resilience of his family, he established Believe in Dreams to empower under-resourced youth to believe in themselves and their dreams.

Impact

Since its inception, Believe in Dreams has granted over 720 dreams, growing from just 8 dreams in its first year to 125 dreams in 2023. The organization is dedicated to providing hope and opportunities for youth who have faced non-medical adversities.
