Our Story
The Alonzo A. Daughtry Memorial Day Care Center was established in 1970 by the House of the Lord Church to meet the community's need for child care services. Originally located in the church, the center moved to the Y.W.C.A. in 1972 and has since expanded its programs to serve more children in Brooklyn.
