Our Story
The Allegheny Historic Preservation Society began in 1988 with a vision to restore the Calvary United Methodist Church, which was at risk of closing. What started with just 12 passionate individuals has grown into a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on preserving architecturally significant buildings in greater Pittsburgh.
