Our Story

Alianza Latina Aplicando Soluciones (ALAS) began in June 1997 as a support group for non-English speaking mothers of children with special needs. Frustrated by the lack of services and information available in their native language, these mothers created a network to support one another. Today, ALAS serves over 700 families in Milwaukee, providing essential resources and community support.

Impact

ALAS promotes the independence of families of children and youth with diverse abilities through educational workshops, parent support groups, and community-building activities.
