Our Story
The Accountability Project was founded in 2021 by a former Philadelphia criminal court judge to address critical reforms in the criminal justice system. Recognizing the need for accountability in the reentry process, the organization focuses on improving retention in drug treatment programs and reducing recidivism through innovative solutions.
Our Impact
The ACET Checkin system has significantly enhanced outcomes for treatment participants, reducing the likelihood of relapse, overdose, and recidivism. By improving retention in post-release or diversionary drug-treatment programs, the organization increases the chances of successful reentry for individuals.
