The 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry Regiment – Rough Riders, Inc. was established in 1978 to honor the remarkable achievements of President Theodore Roosevelt and the Rough Riders. This organization is dedicated to celebrating a pivotal moment in American history by collecting and displaying artifacts, educating future generations, and creating memorials that reflect the valor of these soldiers.
