Our Story
Founded during the Civil Rights Movement, 100 Black Men of the Bay Area Inc. is part of a national organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for African Americans. With roots tracing back to the early 1960s, this organization was established by a group of professional men who sought to uplift their communities through education, mentorship, and economic empowerment. Today, with over 100 chapters and 10,000 members nationwide, the mission remains steadfast: to enhance the educational, economic, and social status of African Americans.
Impact
Since 1992, over $2 million in scholarships have been awarded to more than 1,000 Bay Area students, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational support and community upliftment.
